I have gone back to Raw-Light, I have nu-installed IceWM and installed Razor, arora, qtfm, luckybackup.
I like Razor and it's got a clock on the desktop.
I have a problem with a broken package !, I have tried to mend it with 'Synaptic' but it will not mend.

libdri-drivers

If I could copy and paste In to this window I could give you the error message.

Edit, I also can not paste into a file in the 'qtwm' window, you can open folders but you can not open any files.
Have I got something missing ?.

mm not sure , try using the fix broken packages option in synaptic, or reinstall libdri-drivers, ensure that task-qt is installed also, I will try and replicate later.

re   "mm not sure , try using the fix broken packages option in synaptic" See Red above.

Re   "or reinstall libdri-drivers"   will not install  if you click 'un-install' it wants to remove about 50'ish files some important !!!.
re..  "ensure that task-qt is installed also"  task-qt4 is already installed.

Had to come on another computer to write this as I can not copy & paste .

no. I looked on the razor site and they said that's still to be implemented.  ::)

you're welcome... I did find the files where certain panel preferences are kept but the only thing I changed successfully was the runner.

the files are in /usr/share/razor/themes/light if you want to mess with them.

well the panel.qss or whatever it's called had the gradient settings or so I thought but when I changed them it just made the panel flat gray.

actually mine wasn't white. was a soft gray gradient. I think you can see it in the screenshots.

Did you remove icewm  ?

I'm going to try another fresh install but not removing above.

Edit. With fresh install and leaving  IceWM  installed error messages in synaptic have gone.

But still cannot copy and paste ?.

Install worked well for me and  I built the latest e17 from svn on top (after sorting out a lot of dependencies) .  So far no problems,
