I checked synaptic Neal and it is not installed, I don't know how he did it.

He did it by checking the "Show windows provided by window managers when desktop is clicked" option under the Advanced tab of PCManFM's Desktop preferences. It's the option Leiche told you to uncheck.



Unfortunately, that setting is easily accessed by right-clicking the LXDE desktop.

you could be right djohnston, makes me wonder why he was poking around there anyway. And all I have known for the past 6 or 7 years is KDE, and I'm trying to learn LXDE so I can try and fix it, but I may have to call on you guys again in the future. I appreciate everyones help.

He may have been changing wallpapers and decided to experiment with the Advanced options.
