Hi, I'd appreciate your assistance with the the following issue: I bought a new Dell Inspiron N7110 and tried installing PCLinuxOS.

KDE 2011.09, MiniMe, and Zen-mini failed to load altogether. The only version to load was GNOME 2010.12, but it was unable to detect certain hardware such as the graphics card and wireless adapter.

The first thing I tried was a software update and as a result it failed to boot as well. I then reinstalled 2010.12 and updated the kernel with the same result – not being able to boot.

Just to be sure, I tried Op3nsus3 and F3dora and both worked right out of the box. I really want to stay with PCLinuxOS since I've been running it on all my boxes and couldn't be happier. Again, I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks in advance, Hammerhead.

It is not going to work with that computer because it has that dual graphics stuff and requires things I won't be putting in the repos until after the first of the year. ie updated kernels etc...
