Hello. I am very new to E17 and so far I like what I see. The only minor issue I have is with the colour of the power level text on the battery gadget that I have in the bottom shelf on my laptop. The colour of the text telling me the percentage of power left is a dark colour (with a whitish outline) and I really have trouble seeing it against the dark shelf. I really like a dark theme so is it possible to change the colour of that text to something lighter? I have just read through the E17 Theme creation article by Agust and although it is a very good article and explains how an E17 theme works, I can't tell whether I can change the colour of this particular text and, if so, which color value I need to change in the .edc file.

Is anyone able to help? Thanks.

That is something Agust will have to tell you how to do.. He's the theme expert.  Cool

Well stocc , will put the following example, in this way will be valid for everything else you want to change.
Download theme from here and put in themes selector:
http://e17-stuff.org/content/show.php/A-BlingBlack?content=111149

Now , Main Menu > Settings > Theme , and Tab Advanced ,  select the left "module/battery" tab assing ,  and from right "A-BlingBlack" tab Apply.

As you can see you can add or change what you want or one you like the themes you have available.
This system is easier to recompile an entire theme. Wink

Greetings and welcome.
Agust

Thanks for the quick and helpful response Agust. I'll give that a try as soon as I get back to my laptop.

That worked a treat! Thanks very much. Now to spend some time comparing the two theme files to see how it's done... I'm a glutton for punishment!
