Hello, I have a Lexmark x5070 all in one printer that I cannot get to print. First off let me say that I am very new to PCLINUXOS11 and Linux in general so if any advice is given that requires more than using the simple GUI commands please bare with me. The printer is recognized by my computer and the Lexmark drivers that came with the PCLINUXOS11 disto are installed and enabled. I also read on another post to go to the Lexmark website and download the specific driver for my printer which I did but this did not help. I have also read on another post to ensure that "openssh-server package is installed and indeed it is. I have ran the printer troubleshooter and posted the results below ( due to the size of the troubleshooting file I only included the first portion of the text) Thanks in advance for any help. Hi try reading this thread and see if anything good comes out of it.

Driver link is different of course but searching Lexmark.com should give You something to think about and installation should be painless / easy.

Regards.

Andy, Thanks for the reply. I did see that post you mention in your reply and that is what prompted me to install the correct driver from the Lexmark site. However this did not solve my problem. One thing that I was wondering about is that I do not have a color print cartridge installed in this printer (I just use black) and the unit works fine with Windows but I do get a message stating I need to replace the cartridge and then gives me the option to complete the print after checking "OK".  Could this Message possible be a problem with Linux?  maybe I need ask the Lexmark people this.  Anyway thanks again for your reply.  John
