Never had this happen before, but my ethernet won't work any more. Only thing I did was reinstalled, that in it's self was a horror story,  and resized my partitions.
Lucky I also have a very good wireless card in my computer, so I still get full signal. Another funny thing it now shows my ethernet only being a signal of 4 bars.

Any ideas?

After that I re-installed again, so it is on a clean fully updated install. Everything works perfectly besides the ethernet, even on the first install before everything blew up it wouldn't work. What is odd it's the same exact burn I used to first install pclos on this computer which worked perfectly last time.

Weird indeed.

"Another funny thing it now shows my ethernet only being a signal of 4 bars."

Checked your router?

I only use a switch, but that all works fine still.

Randomly started working after starting my computer today, it automatically connected. Odd, but it works.

Will leave the thread open until I'm sure it is fully working even after reboot.
