Thanks for the extra info, Nippur. I just had to be sure that Windows wasn't involved.

Take a look at my SSH: An Easier-Than-You-Thought Tutorial in the February 2011 issue of The PCLinuxOS Magazine. This is what I use to access files on other computers (no less than 5 different ones) on my home network, and I find that, in particular, gsshfs works incredibly well. FYI, gsshfs is one of the applications that I cover in the article.

I hope this helps!

I'm trying to establish the ssh connection and though I have configured the firewall to allow ssh server I get "connection refused"  Huh

Is it possible to use filezilla without going through the "gaining access" step of the tutorial?

Nippur,

Go into PCC > System Services and insure that sshd is running. If not, start it, and mark it to start at boot.

Got it!
I had to enable SSH server in the host machine firewall and have successfully transfered files with filezilla to the guest.

If I now would like to transfer files from the guest to the original host can I doit through the actual setup?
or do I have to start as from the begining in the reverse order?
Thx for this help!!!
