Hi All,
I've been away for a while and this is my first post in many weeks.

I did a quick search but did not find anything related to this problem, if I have missed a relevant thread please send me a link.

Here is the problem:

Whenever I open a pdf file online or from a saved file, it opens in Okular (from a saved file I can choose Gimp), it displays properly, however when I try to print it I get the following error message:

Quote
Internal Error - False
Position: 0x71eb8 (466616)
System: H6FW/xl_tbl
Line: 407
Version: QPDL 1.26 05-06-2004

Please note that the error message is always the same except for the Position, that changes.

Any ideas how I can fix this problem?

As always I welcome and appreciate any help that you may provide.

Yup I have a Samsung, however I don't have any problems printing with it.
I can print PDFs, I just have to save them to file first, then open them with Gimp.

Your first post didn't say so  Cheesy

Try different printing options, or try to print from different programs: i.e. LibreOffice, Acrobat, or try from command line:
lpr -P <printer-name>   file.pdf

Is this a PCLinuxOS provided driver or is it from Samsung website ?

The problem is when I am online and I need to print a pdf, when I select print or view it is automatically opened with Okular.
When I view it it is fine, when I try to print it gives me the error message.
When I open a saved PDF, the same problem occurs, view fine, print error message.
I would like to find a way to get Okular to print the PDFs without giving me the error message.

I'm sorry, but so far your report only confirm about a printing problem, surely when using Okular, may be also from others applications. We need more info to understand your issue.

Have you tried foxitreader to see if that will print the file?

I can confirm that I can print PDFs from Gimp but not Okular.

I have never hear of Foxitreader and don't believe I have it installed.

The exact same PDF prints just fine from Gimp but I only get an error message when I try to print it from Okular.

Firefox automatically opens PDFs with Okular and not Gimp.

I hope this information helps.

It doesn't. Right now there are at least 2 component involved in your issue (Okular and the print subsystem), you do not provide any info to discriminate which one is possibly wrong. Gimp provide two different printing sub systems (default and gutenprint),
that's the reason because gimp success while printing it's not enough to say that something is broken in Okular.

Okay, simply tell me what information you need (and possibly how to get it) and I will do my best to supply it for you.

Are there any tests that I can run to help obtain the information needed to troubleshoot this problem?

When printing from Gimp I select the default print option, not the Gutenprint.

I just tried it out and printing to file works just fine.

Saving a pdf to my hard drive works fine too.

Printing a pdf using Okular either online or from my hard drive does not work.

I've just installed Foxitreader and can confirm that it will print a pdf file from my hard drive (although I haven't tested printing a pdf from a website I suspect it will work).
