Hello , I am a linux newbie and have been test driving multiple linux distros lately and after installing and using Pclinuxos CD version have decided that this going to be my distro of choice. Now I would like to upgrade to the full Monty version and was wondering what would be the best method to do this? is there a way to use my existing version to update over the internet? or do I burn the dvd version and reinstall over my existing version? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help. John

Full Monty is a DVD image. To get it with all applications and configuration, you need to install from the DVD. If you want to keep your current install and have the Full Monty configuration, also, install the fullmonty-lite package via Synaptic and run it. It will create the Full Monty layout and a new user account for it. It will not install the applications for you, though. It is up to you to do that.

Thanks for your quick response Neal, I will go ahead and burn a dvd image and start over with a fresh install.
