Hi, Melodie!
Why do you call me Melanie ?
... simple, a mistake! I'm sorry.

I would recommand you try it yourself first, test it, see about the security part which has been especially setup for this version, also acknowledge that it is not an official ISO, and that it will also be updated once a while, at least 2 times a year and very soon next if I can do it.
Yes, of course. And if you send me a notice (when a new relase of ISO is complete) I will be update the ISO first as possible.
I was just wondering about the website you gave me as a link in your pm, the first part of the page states:
«Il contenuto è proprietà intellettuale del Prof. Antonio Cantaro e potrà essere utilizzato in toto o anche in stralcio, solo su autorizzazione dell'autore. »
How can the website promote Free Software, GNU/Linux distribution, and not have the content under a free licence ? ie : CC, CC-by ?
http://creativecommons.org/Prof. Antonio Cantaro is well know, in all Italy, for his struggle to spree free-software and GNU/Linux. He is the Site (and Forum) Admin. I cannot explain for him, of course. But you can ask about to him directly, if you like.
Since his move a few months ago Siamer has not sent a new mail where to join him. What version have you downloaded ? His version or the latest available ?
The PCLinuxOS 2011 ZEN-mini ISO that I have uploaded today (for download, I must before upload all the ISOs, of course) is the "september-iso": the last version, I think. I have the previus ISO too (a july-iso and a Siamer work, this), but he tell me that in this time "other person is continue my work" (it's his exaclty words), so I download this last version to hosting.
I really receive a reply (from Siamer) and he agree to my proposal about the ISO hosting and promise to me "I will let you know when new version will be available...".
I can write him and can tell him to send a email to you, if you like...
About "remastering": we would host YOURS ISOs (Officials ands not-Officials, without modifications), not to create a new (our) ISO. No one, never, tell me about one "our remasterization" ideas... Personally, I don't like that... because I think that your existing versions (Officials and not-Officials) are very good. You are the Devenlopers. We would only give you a (little) help hosting your ISOs "without change" (and not "making" new ISOs).
