Sorry to see him go...  But at my age, I've become accustomed to someone familiar and/or admired going away every week.

I was talking with the good folks in #pclinuxos on irc about how Dennis Richie's passing ,really should have a higher level of recognition, without him there would be a very different computer/IT landscape, possibly one that was baron.

This man was a visionary and a true innovator, of whom in one way or another every computer user is indebted to.
