After installing pclinuxos 2011.6 I get in synaptic the following message:
W: There are multiple versions of "libstdc++6" in your system.

This package won't be cleanly updated, unless you leave
only one version. To leave multiple versions installed,
you may remove that warning by setting the following
option in your configuration file:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated { "^libstdc++6$"; };

To disable these warnings completely set:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated-Warning "false";

etc...

What can I do with this message?

I have run dupeclean and got this message:
The following packages were removed: mesa-7.10.3-1pclos2011 libmesagl1-7.10.3-1pclos2011 libdri-drivers-7.10.3-1pclos2011 ldetect-lst-0.1.291-2pclos2011 bleachbit-0.8.8-1pclos2011 kdenetwork4-kppp-provider-4.6.4-1pclos2011 gtk+2.0-2.24.4-2pclos2011 dupeclean-gui-0.1-5pclos2011 libgtk+2.0_0-2.24.4-2pclos2011 libgtk+-x11-2.0_0-2.24.4-2pclos2011 vlc-plugin-gnutls-1.1.10-1pclos2011 vlc-plugin-schroedinger-1.1.10-1pclos2011 vlc-1.1.10-1pclos2011 hplip-common-3.11.3a-1pclos2011 dbus-1.4.6-1pclos2011 libavformats52-0.6.3-1pclos2011 libdbus-1_3-1.4.6-1pclos2011 libgdk_pixbuf2.0_0-2.24.4-2pclos2011 locales-en-2.12.1-2pclos2011 openssh-askpass-common-5.8p2-1pclos2011 libffmpeg52-0.6.3-1pclos2011 liblibcap-ng0-0.6.5-1pclos2011 libdb4.8-4.8.24-1pclos2010 locales-2.12.1-2pclos2011 libpostproc51-0.6.3-1pclos2011 foomatic-db-engine-4.0.4-1pclos2011 foomatic-filters-4.0.5-1pclos2011 libxcursor1-1.1.11-1pclos2011 libxrandr2-1.3.1-1pclos2011 rootcerts-20110413.00-1pclos2011 libogg0-1.2.2-1pclos2011 libswscaler0-0.6.3-1pclos2011 libavutil50-0.6.3-1pclos2011 libsqlite3_0-3.7.6.2-1pclos2011 libpixman1_0-0.22.0-1pclos2011 libsm6-1.2.0-1pclos2011 libstdc++6-4.5.2-3pclos2011 libgcc1-4.5.2-3pclos2011 glibc-2.12.1-3pclos2011 gutenprint-foomatic-5.2.6-1pclos2010 vim-minimal-7.3.0-2pclos2010 libsmbclient0-3.5.6-3pclos2010 libwbclient0-3.5.6-3pclos2010 net-snmp-mibs-5.5-4pclos2010 x264-1.92-1pclos2010 drakx-installer-binaries-probe-1.45-1pclos2010. Is then the problem solved? I did not get any message in synaptic anymore.
Also another question: I have as source in synaptic:
http://debian.ethz.ch/mirror/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2010/main updates nonfree kde4 games. Is that the good source?

Yes, that's  fine molen

A couple of reasons that Synaptic may have problems can be that the mirror hadn't fully synced and/or more than one repo is being used which is a no-no (having the Megagames repo as a second repo is the exception to that rule)

It's often worth waiting for a few hours or mebbe switch to another repo (the heanet.ie repo in Ireleand receives a "good press" for reliability and speed)
