Just my 5¢, I really don't see a need for a separate 64-bit forum. I run both 32 and 64 bit systems, most of the problems I've  encountered are not 64-bit specific.

As I understand this the request is for new 64 bits sections to be setup once the official 64 bit version is released, after testing. This makes sense as there will be issues that effect 32 bit but not 64 bit and vice-versa. What new sections are required should be decided soon so preparations can be made and not left until the last minute.  I also think that any new 64 bit sections should be included in the existing forum as people do have both 32 bit and 64 bit machines and don't want the hassle of having to read two separate forums which may have the same questions and responses.

"This makes sense as there will be issues that effect 32 bit but not 64 bit and vice-versa"

the way i see it, there shouldn't be 32 bit issues, just the normal problems some of us have from time to time with some apps when we download updates

of course lots of people will have lots of question with 64 bit pclinux, i will certainly have 2 or 3 and that is why a 64 bit section should exist

it should begin with basic information about what will be available on the livecd, on repo, supported cpus, supported hardware and also things we should know like can we keep my /home partition? and similar questions
