My system is in my signature.
In KInfocentre under memory it reports this;
Total physical memory: 2,123,509,760 bytes = 1.98 Gib
Free physical memory:     130,577,400 bytes = 119.19MiB (constantly changing)
Shared memory = 0
Disk buffers: 20.26 MiB
Disk cache: 1.29GiB
Swap memory not being used (set at 3,00 GiB)

The box at the bottom shows :
Used physical memory 36%
Total free memory 63%
3.24GiB   (Which I guess is free physical memory and swap added)

I have looked in System Activity and adding everything together comes to about 1.1GiB.

So, to me it seems close to 1 GiB is being used for something I can't find.
Or am I reading everything wrong.
The system runs just fine and I have no complaints, I just wondered where this part of my memory has dissapeared to.

Even for this rig, performance is good and all 3d works
