HP 1020 printer Digital signature Issue

Using the current HPLIP 3.11.7 rpm and using the HPLIP Device Manager, the required plugin and associated firmware does not load as it has over dozens of times before, due to the following error message: Error:Plug-in file does not match its Digital Signature. Error Code 2.
A search has revealed that there is a bug report in another distro Launchpad:https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/846924
I am using PClinuxos 2011.6
Can anyone help me track down this problem?

The link for downloading the plugin no longer works.  Does anyone know where I can get a copy?

I have put in a request for hplip to be updated hoping this may help.
