I thought I'd adapt a song from the worlds greatest band, to honor the worlds greatest OS.

Play this and follow the lyrics below.....

Coldplay - Fix You

Code:
when you try your best, but you don't succeed
when you get distrowatch number one, but not what you need
when you feel so tired, and they call you a geek
sucks it's not in universe

when the distro brown, is no longer your taste
when you lose your cool, so you have to replace
when you love your PC, but it goes to waste
could you do any worse?

Tex will guide you home
and ignite your dual core
and you won't need... to fix it

and high cpu with nothing to show
when push comes to shove, give it a go
try PCLinuxOS, or you'll never know
just what it's worth

Tex will guide you home
and allright your moans
and you won't need... to fix it

smiles will beam accross your face
when you PCLinuxOS install away
folders and files will remain in place
oh what a pace my....

forums here are oh so great
there's no excuse to make any mistakes
years without down time or egg on your face
oh what a pace my....

Tex will guide you home
and winblows no more
and you won't need... to fix it

If you can keep you head while all around you are losing theirs, then you have misunderstood the situation.

I was searching the forum for something (forgot what it was...) and ran across this.

NO!! NOT ENOUGH SAID! Wink

ethoms, I love what you have done with the song and the words!!!  World's Greatest Band?  I have to be honest and say I never heard of it.  Grin Grin Grin  or the song.   Grin Grin

But I have heard of the World's Greatest OS.  Cheesy  I only know 1914 type songs but am always putting new words for PCLinuxOS in them.  I have a lot of fun doing it.  My words always turn out a bit silly.

Your words are really great.
I am sure you had fun writing your words too.
I wish I knew the tune better.  Do you have a link for the chords?

And shame on you menotu for not immediately bringing this to my attention.  Tongue
