i have MSI L1350D running updated pc linux 2010 and its not picking up sd card but does on windows. any suggestions?

right now the only suggestion is: try to provide a little more info about your hardware.
your card reader is internal or external, usb or pci ?

PCC -> System -> Open a console as administrator, and type the following commands:

lspci
lsusb

post the results
