Know how to tell when a drummer is knocking at your door?

The knock will be out of time.

Yep
Have tried all sorts of distros over the last 5 years or so, but keep returning to PCLinux as it's by far the nicest, easiest and most up to date Linux of them all. Got a new laptop with Win7 64bit a month or so ago. Win 7 lasted about 3 days till I got really sick it's typical paranoid Windows ways, so off it came and on went PCLinux. So much faster, stable and easier to use than that MS train wreck.

Thanks to all the team for a great distro.

PCLinuxOS has no wealthy sponsors and can only survive with your donations! Don't wait it might be too late.

I'm a dude.  Just so everyone knows heh.

Anyone got any username ideas please throw them at me.  Maybe I'll use a pen name like authors do instead of a username that people can't tell what gender I am lol.

Chaining me to the sandbox lol I like that. Cheesy

hi linuxforever007.  Just use a name with man/boy and use a blue picture - there you have straight talk.  The sandbox - I suspect is filled with quicksand. Cheesy  I have been hearin' the drumbeats around here.  It's a good sound.  I think some don't want to work - just want to play on the drums all day .

Welcome back!

It is not difficult to get the latest package you desire in Debian, you can use apt-pinning. The good part with that, you have a rock stable system with up to date packages of your desire. Then again not all Debian user knows about apt-pinning. If you learn apt-pinning not much can bit it.  Smiley
