Hi,
I installed the latest version of PCLinuxOS KDE in my work laptop and I am trying to connect to my corporate wifi.
Its a WPA with cert auth.
I have the cert in der p12 format (It has the private key and the CA chain). I am not sure if its the right format.
It fails to connect and does not ask for the password for the cert file
Using this cert I am able to connect my android phone.

If I can solve this, I will be able to install it in couple of my friends laptop Smiley
Thanks

In the meantime, I will try http://www.codealias.info/technotes/wpa2_eap-tls_authentication_linux_client_setup
and use directives in the advanced setup option.

Sorry. I didnt get any error information when I used the network center or the steps mentioned in the link I gave.
I can only see (the status change in the systray) that it is trying to connect and failing repeatedly.
Thanks

As far as i can tell, it is not possible to do this using the net_applet tray application and hence you will have to manually configure that text file as the link says.

It will be easier if you show what you added to the file and what command you run to connect to the network so we can look at the instructions and compare to what you did to make sure you did not make any mistakes. Instructions seem easy enough.
