i cannot seem to make a working usb stick of pclinuxos. im using a netbook and have tried dozens of ways to make this live usb in windows. every method i tried starts to boot i get a red flash and then a black screen with a single blinkin line that responds to nothing. any help would be appreciated im sick of windows and would really like to leave it behind

If you truly want to leave Windows behind, boot the PC from your live CD. From the main menu, select More Applications > Configuration > PCLinuxOS Live USB Creator. Follow the prompts. It's easy.

unfortunatly i have a netbook that has no cdrom, i only have a 4gb usb stick. i have been trying out distros for a few weeks now and had no trouble using tools like unetbootin and such,

so now im stuck in windows unable to make a bootable usb Sad

Got any other computer that does have a CDROM? Create the liveUSB from there.

Don't have another computer of any kind, see if a friend will let you use his/her computer long enough to create the liveUSB.

Buy or borrow a USB CD/DVD-ROM or Burner.
