I just did a remaster/backup using mylivecd (freaking genius!).
The DVD seems to work fine.  I am AMAZED!

When I was preparing to burn the DVD, K3B showed an MD5 checksum of the iso.
With other Linux distros, I always compared the md5 of the downloaded iso to the md5 provided by the distro's creator (usually found on the download page)...but  I "created" this distro, so how do I check the md5?  Do I check the newly-created iso against the burned image on the DVD?

Many thanks for the patience....

Edit: I researched the issue, and figured out how to check the MD5 sum via terminal of the newly created iso and the newly burned DVD...they don't match...

Does that mean that the burn was bad?  I did have K3b verify, and it was allegedly ok...
