Hi, i have try installed E17 desktop version and sucessfull.
The issue is upon completion of Linux Mint installtion,
I cant get E17 in grub selection.

How and what the best ways to have e17 shows in Mint grub ?
Or do i need to install Linux Mint 10 first and then only E17?

There are option of grub loader at the installation, which one do i need to choose for multiple OS installtion and booting option?

Thanks

Boot the E17 liveCD and run the Redo MBR app.

If you want Mint's GRUB 2 you have to do minor edit in a certain file. There are plenty threads about it here http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/board,16.0.html

If you run RedoMBR you will be presented with PCLOS GRUB menu and this is the better way from my point of view.

+1.

Particularly it's way less complicated, for the time being. Smiley

Thank guys,

I shall try the Redo MBR as i found that E17  PCLinuxs Grub is the best and attractive so far.
Mint is quiet standard compare to E17.

Thanks guys ,

That what we are proud of FOSS.
