Screenlets/Gnometris

Excuse please if this is in the wrong place but from my search so far they appear to be related.

New install of PCLinuxOS Gnome 2010.12 and neither Screenlets or Gnometris will launch. Screenlets returns a "starting screenlets" in the tray but then this disappears and nothing happens. Trying to start it in terminal returns this:

Are both these somehow related to graphics effects that I either need to enable and/or obtain more kit to make function?

Please explain in easy steps as I am new to this.  Thanks!

I have searched myself, found one thread marked "Screenlets SOLVED" but I can't access it for some reason, although it was back in 2009 so maybe this is no longer relevant.

I couldn't find the post you mentioned but I found this one http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,69336.0.html No solution though. If you installed screenlets from the repositories, you could post in the Broken Packages section.
