Well, I did Xorg update;
connected my brand new Multi-touch screen to my laptop;

and single touch works! (just by plugging in the cable)...

That's really handy (I was planning to go searching for touch drivers etc....); now I'm only going to do that when I've some free time, and when I want to have multi-touch enabled (so when there are enough Linux-apps available supporting multi touch)

I ran into a Asus eee top pc just an hour ago, Shocked

nice!!!!
If only it could run Linux, just curious in what multi touch screen you bought?

(but haven't taken time yet to try multi-touch; I even don't know what apps are supporting multi-touch -- I think I'd have to use Plasma Active (from KDE) then)
