Using KDE desktop ( fully updated )

For some reason the KDE screensaver on longer auto starts
After a reboot.

If I go to Configure Your Desktop>Hardware>Display and Monitor>Screensaver Settings
and adjust the time to start, by arrowing up or down and then click apply - it will work as it is suppose
to. But if I Reboot then it won't automatically start - until I go through the above described process and click apply.

Any Suggestions ?

Thanks,
Ramchu

What graphics card are you using? The problem might have something to do with the desktop effects settings.

Using An Nvidia GeForce FX5200 256MB 128 Bit DDR pci slot mounted Card
Desktop Effects are not enabled

Are you using xserver-org 1.10.2 and the new nvidea drivers? The screensaver did not run reliably on my system until I installed the KDE test 2 iso with the updated packages. The new packages are supposed to go into the repos today from what I read on twitter. I am also using nvidea graphics.

Thanks !

EDIT:
xserver-org 1.10.2 is installed and in use

Having a pass account, you should have the latest drivers and xserver packages.

Correct - just have to wait and see, when I can let it sit idle for a bit

KDE screensaver still does not start at the designated time after reboot.

What package is the screensaver in ? Just thinking that maybe a reinstall will fix it.
