The only dumb question is the one not asked.

My wife is getting a new laptop in a few days. She is running PCLOS 2010.12 Minime as the only OS on her current PC.
She wants to try out Windows 7 but use PCLOS for internet stuff.
Is it possible to make a remaster and install that in virtualbox?
I would more than likely back up all her files and create a remaster as small as possible.

Thanks

Rick.

Thanks djohnston, I'll try it out on a test box first.

Yes. I've done remasters from within VirtualBox, then used the created iso to boot a different VirtualBox machine. It's a good way to test any remasters. And, yes, you can also install from the remastered iso to a VirtualBox hard drive and reboot from the hard drive. Also another good way to test a remaster.
