Appreciation for the development process.

I just wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for the development process of PCLinuxOS. I am used to the typical cycle of breakage associated with most distros. Texstar kindly informs the community of major changes on Twitter and with announcements in the forum. Major changes such as the xserver-org updates were tested as well as humanly possible before being placed in the main repos. Texstar took the time to explore his options before making a decision on what to go with and he did not simply go with the latest, greatest when he discovered there were issues with some NVidea graphics. It's nice to know there is someone that really cares about good hardware support! You just don't see this kind of responsible and well thought out development everyday. Thank you Texstar for your fine work, you are an example to all Developers.

Undoubtedly, Texstar is an example to us all. Many of us (Me included) spend our days 'paving the road to hell with good intentions'. I often think of what I can do to help our little community, and usually fail through sheer laziness. Tomorrow never comes and it always makes me feel guilty that I can't or wont help in a technical sense.
That's why I press the Donation button and give back in the easy way.
Like all of us Texstar needs to pay the bills.

I recently installed 2010.12 on a separate hard drive keeping my 2009 install in place (just in case). I can hardly believe how great everything works!
I will keep 2009 on my system because I have a couple of converts that are still using it. But I see no reason to go back.
Thanks Texstar, nobody does it better.
