I was just watching a yahoo video about windows keyboard short cuts and found that some of them actually work with my PCLOS 2010.12 KDE install. Two that I tried were : in the address bar of Firefox, if you want to go to say the Wal-Mart site, just type in walmart and hit CTRL and ENTER and it will fill in the http:// and the .com part for you. Another was to take a screen shot of a page, just hit the "print screen" button and it will open Ksnapshot for you. Below is the link if you want to see the entire story. hope this helps.

FWIW, Chromium does the Walmart trick... I've not tried the screen print.

Running KDE, yes the Print Screen does work, cool! Use to do that by hand, great.

If you can keep you head while all around you are losing theirs, then you have misunderstood the situation.
