Hi all,

I downloaded and installed the scanner driver from Canon's website, but the scanner is nowhere to be found when I try to set it up in MCC.

Under USB Mass Storage Devices there is an entry for MG6100 series, but when I want to setup the scanner, funny it is, only my USB webcam is detected and the MG6100 is nowhere to be found.

Anyone had any success? Can anyone help?

Cheers,

Bela

Hi,

is the PIXMA directly connected to the pc or are you using a usb hub? A usb hub could cause problems.

In terminal type lsusb and post the result.
