I mostly run KDE, but have became interested in the Enlightenment Desktop, what with all of the development that went into it, it must be neat, huh? I downloaded everything that Synaptic had for it, and booted into my new desktop. I began to configure it, got the desktop picture right, and the screensaver set, and power options then the taskbar disappeared. Try as I might, couldn't get it back. So, removed it, and then downloaded it again. Petty near the same thing happened. What am I doing wrong here? Is there a way to get the taskbar back? How do I add things to my right and left click?

to install enlightenment 17 all you need to do is search in synaptic for task-enlightenment and install it

it will add to the system all files required and add it to the login menu

about disappearing menu, could it be a error in a config file, delete config and recreate it(not sure where is stored in /home folder

does it happen when you add a specific element to the taskbar?

Another solution: Search synaptic for
Quote
econfig-itask
or
Quote
econfig-light

And install one of them
