I have used it just after updating to KDE 4.6.1. I am current with the updates from the PASS repository and have installed kernel 3.6.38.2-pclos1.pae.bfs from testing.
I have a test OS that is the same in VirtualBox for testing patches but is on kernel 2.6.37.4-pclos1.pae
If I try to run ccsm from the command line on either I get the following:

jfg@localhost ~]$ ccsm
ERROR:root:Could not find any typelib for GObject
ERROR:root:Could not find any typelib for GObject
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:40: RuntimeWarning: tp_compare didn't return -1 or -2 for exception

  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gi/__init__.py", line 27, in <module>
    from gi.repository import GObject
ImportError: cannot import name GObject

I probably have a simple problem but the settings manager worked on both or them a short whine ago.
 Thanks for any help

If memory serves there was another post where gobject was referenced and the OP was asked if python-gobject was installed.  BUT I have no idea whether this will help in your instance jfxg

If you can keep you head while all around you are losing theirs, then you have misunderstood the situation.

I guess I didn't wait long enough. I just installed the last set of patches which included the following:
ccsm
python-gobject
gobject-introspection
now it starts
Thanks for the help.

Maybe some of things related to the libgirepository was a tad behind. Wink

Also glad to learn you report that it is now working. Smiley
