Gi'day all. Just wondering, is there a later pclos 2010 kde4 with the majority of updates/changes built in. The live cd image i have, i think i downloaded pretty much as soon as 2010 hit the scene. Hence 100's of megs in updates, now more with the latest lot that came out a few days ago. If any one knows for certain and the link to the correct image, id love to hear from you. Thanks in advance people.

The latest one is 2010-12 If you update, there is still 100's of megs , but choosing a fast mirror will help a lot.
Theoretical, there should be an update CD in the near future ( near=1 day to 100 days ).

Thanks Xena, I may as well just use my original image, do the updates if its going to make little difference. Love your comment, "Theoretical, there should be an update CD in the near future ( near=1 day to 100 days )." Gotta have a sense of humor, be patient!! The team do an amazing job as it is and im gratefull. I wonder , doe's Tex ever sleep ?

Jeddaboy, If your CD is from near a year ago, it is likely to encounter serious issues during an update to the present time. Serious as in, "it will be broken." You should start with 2010-12 or wait for 2011.

Around here, the work never stops. Someone might take a short break, but the work continues. As to when a new ISO will be released, you know the answer. -- "It will be ready, when it is ready."

Got to teach those hogs to sail and navigate. Sharks like bacon too. Besides, I need a new sailboat. I'll be waiting at the dock to take possession. If it's a nice enough boat, I won't even send the bill for the necessary cleanup.

Thanks all. All updates went well. All working well. :)Neal, if your desperate for coffee and bacon i can send over to the US a dozen big tins of Nescafe!! The wife buys in bulk. Why don't ya switch to red meat mate? Krickey!, we export tons of the best quality stuff over to the USA!! Then here, we stuck with the second grade stuff!! Thanks heaps for all the humorous replies. Great to have a laugh. OP is catching on to the aussie lingo, at last!! He can give me as good as i give, in the taking the "mickey" department. Cheers for now.

And seafood. Plus a variety of veggies, grains and of course, chocolate!
