The truth is out there ... PCLinuxOS!

« Reply #31 on: March 11, 2011, 08:51:02 PM »

Greetings,
I just wanted to take the time as a very new PCLinuxOS User (Just installed over this last weekend...Enlightenment version) to offer high praise for your magazine.  Everyone that contributes to this magazine most definitely takes a great deal of pride in what they write and the tutorials they offer.  It shows with out a doubt.  Smiley

I have A LOT to learn.  I have been a linux user for about 6 months now.  I have spent that time learning Linux for what it is, and now I am about to delv into adding "Themes" and making the desktop look really nice.  I have been looking through the site and have seen some AWESOME desktops.  Many in which were created by Agust.  (He is very talented).  One program I really want to set up and add to my desktop in "Conky"  Before I request an article be written on setting up Conky in E17 PCLOS, Is there one currently out there in an earlier publication?

Thank you for your time and thank you for not only a great magazine and a great OS, but devoting so much of your time in pleasing the end user with no monetary gain.  I will be researching how to make a donation to PCLOS.

All the best,

Ian

Thank you, Ian, a.k.a. ichase!

Tall order ... and that'll get the mag's readership down. I can just see it now ... all the female readers burning their copies of the mag ... on their desktops and laptops! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
