k3b - Linux to Windows
«

I burned a disc (DVD-R) using k3b. It's an AVI file and it reads fine in PCLinuxOS. k3b appears to work without a hitch.
Windows is another matter. The disc won't read in Win7 or WinXP. It just gives me an .ini icon. No AVI file.
Right now, I'm burning some other data files to a DVD-R. Hang on. gonna see if it reads in Windows....
(Pause as Mark waits for the burning process on his Lenovo to finish)
Well, I burned some cartoon files to a DVD-R and they read in PCLinuxOS. Again, the disc does not read in Windows.
I checked k3b defaults and filesystem is set for Linux/Unix+Windows.

Again, the disc does not read in Windows.
I noticed the same here,( in the past ). Also on XP.
I thought that time it was me doing something wrong, so I let it go and didn't bother asking here.

Thing is, the disc does read in Linux. No problem. I'll give Brasero a shot with this burn project.
