I run pcosl in vmbox and works fine. The only problem I have is to see my c: drive, but that is the vmbox config problem. Still working on it. Just testing (playing with). Planning to install more OS in vmbox. Got 4gig of memory to share.

Maybe instead try running ssh client for windows like tunnelier and access the linux from windows level using built in sftp client? It works great each time I test it. Also I was using samba in the past to access shares between host and guest. My host and guest both have static IP so all I had to do is setup sharing in Windows and then access it via smb://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ where xxx is an IP of the windows sharing machine.

Look at "Setting -> Shared folders", you can configure some folder from host to be shared with the guest, temporarily or permanently.  Wink
