Anyone have any idea when the newer kernel that will work with the BCM57780 will be available in PCLOS?
And. has anyone managed to get the BCM57780 to work with the existing kernels?

Which new kernel would you need?

I don't remember which one it is.  It was in one of the bug reports for the BCM 57780 and is a later kernel than the ones in the repos.
I've tried to find the exact post that I had found before, but can't seem to find it now.  I think it was 2.6.34.

I've tried several things I've found to listed as supposed fixes, but  haven't had any luck.

Well, 2.6.37 is in the testing sections of the repos currently, so my guess is that it should be in the main section pretty soon.

I just looked on the Broadcom website and they say the kernel is supposed to be patched for it in 2.6.37
