Each time i reboot my system, no sound. I have to move the volume slider to get the sound to work, how can i fix that?

I have pclinuxos 2010, gnome, pulseaudio activated.

Sadly, Pulse Audio has been giving us trouble.  Try going to ALSA for now.

Strange, i after i switched from kdm to gdm, the problem disappared.

Okay, so maybe it has to do with KDM. Tongue

Have you also tried going into "Configure Your Computer", then into "Hardware", and finally "Sound Configuration", and changing the driver to ALSA?
