I followed the instructions here: http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,46097.0.html

When i'm booting with the USB i have an error message saying that the Pen drive does not contain an operating system. What did i do wrong?

Instructions from May 28, 2008?    Couldn't you find something more recent?
What functions (OS's) are you trying to achieve here?

IMO, the PCLinuxOS LiveUSB Creator app is the easiest way to create a live install on a USB stick. If it isn't installed already, it can be installed from the repos.
