Ah... Pclinuxos LXDE. So fast and it works!!!

Just got a nice new M/B with a AMD 640 processor.

Tried Mint x64, x32, LMDE Puppy Lucid 5.2, and there were show stoppers every time. (They are great distros but just don't seem to want to play nice with my Asus M/B)

PClinuxos LXDE straight in there and working (99%) out of box. It's nearly as fast as Puppy and that is saying something.

Firefox with addons, Thunderbird, Synaptic, terminal with qps running, clipboard, total 332mb of ram used and about 1-2% CPU usage.........

Yes, i like LXDE, too. It's run on my both machines

For eye-candy i use wbar, and for audio playing deadbeef or clementine. For my videos i use mplayer, and for my photos i think is shotwell the best choice...

I found xt7-player, is a gui for mplayer, with a lot of options, and functions. Hopeful Tex will add it soon...
