Hello to all,
This is 2010.12 on hp Laptop-2*1Gb sata drives 8GB ram blueray burner
The shared folder is  2010.12 /home/data
A query relating to the Oracle VB 4.0.
If possible could anyone help.
I have setup a share in VB but cannot write into it as it gives a gid? of 501 to the shared partition!!
I login as a user with 500:500
Can any one tell me how to change the VB gid on the shared partition???
Gezza
Also...VB-Oracle-4.0...Failed to create the VirtualBox COM object.
and exits.
Full Monty-64FX53 processor-1.5GB ram 1*80Gb booting drive-2*160GB raid1 /home
Perhaps someone can tell me how to correct this error.
Finally----can someone/anyone explain how to setup shares for other machines on the network to see.Huh
This can be either VB4.0 or VB 3.x. I have not sucessfully done this yet. I understand that on a MAC with their version of VB this can be done!!!

Gezza, what is you guest O/S, and what is the Host O/s?  That will make a difference.
