Hi to all,
I have the new laptop and 1 machine running 2010.12 and they will not talk to each other!!!!!
Is anyone else doing this or have tried this.
Neither samba nor nfs shares are seen be the other machine either way.

Any thoughts on this subject will be most appreciated.

Thanks, Tex
But the point was that I could never see the remote machine running 2010.12, All shares are set up. SMB and NFS
I have put 2010.07 back on the system and now share are working again.

In PCC the Access NFS share shows only the local host and nothing else. Not even 192.168.1.50
97 is a PCLinuxOS 2010.07 Workstation
104 is this machine I am working on (Live CD)
107 is Full Monty
not sure what 101 is as there are only 3 machines working. (ping returns an average of 21ms)
The point is 2010.12 does not see any of these machines only itself.
Your thoughts as always greatfully received.
