Ecomorph is kind of obsoleted, e17 devs decided to go for the comp module and are busy porting some of the ecomorph stuff into the comp module. So won't be included in my isos anymore.
Ecomorph and ecomp are still available in the repo just install them both, enable the ecomorph module in e17, log out and log back in into the e17-ecomorph session.

Got a new iso online, kernel 2.6.38.4-bfs, all updated. Removed mplayer and dependencies, added sakura as terminal emulator.
Iso cleaned up and trimmed down to 380mb (Thanks to melodie for some hints)

I can't watch Apple movie trailers without mplayer and mplayer plugin.

Edit: Oh wait you name it mini so it should be void of almost all applications and just a bare minimum installation so the user can trick it out himself like KDE minime. Is this correct?

Thanks!!!! .

Looks good and work fine , but I still have the same problem with the mixer  Huh.
I tried the suggestions in the forum (Neal and Just 19) but nothing at all, restart computer , the mixer is down.

I will continue with the former Iso 12-2010.

Yes it's a bare minimum, stripped out mplayer and plugin for now to have a minimal base. Btw could we have a e17 update if you find the time between all the other stuff to update. There has been major changes in the first run wizard allowing the user to pick a profile (desktop setup) and a theme to start with. Doesn't ask for ibar and favorite applications to add anymore. And efreet still has problems caching svg icons had to include the cache on the livecd so the icons appear from the moment the desktop has been started.

I'd like to finish this mini soon and start adding applications and functionality for the full and light gtk versions. Smiley

Could you try out the following things to track down the mixer problem?
1- Switch profile to 'default' and restart e17
2- If that doesn't help install task-pulseaudio-remove in synaptic and reboot.

On my main e17 sytem i also have mixer problems when using autologin, have to restart e17 to get it showing.
Don't have that problem on the mini.

Has smurfslover gone to vacation ? Are we going to get all the collection of small isos we had last year ? We hope to get the answers soon in one of the text news ! Smiley
