Hi
After installing PCLinuxOS on my HDD, I was reading the forums and found I can run Enlightenment alongside my existing install.
I tried to download it today, but all I got was 404 Not Found page.  I updated the XFCE front end and that works fine, but I'd really like to see Enlightenment working.
Help please.

Thanks for that menotu, but I was trying to do it from the synaptic task loader.  I probably didn't explain myself too clear.
I don't want to go download another distro, only the update files.  I also don't have anywhere to store the work I have done with this.
I may have to get another HDD and reinstall it on that though, until I can backup all my paperwork.  Got a few old drives lying around, so no biggie, just thought I'd save time and electric lol

Sorry, but how do I do that.  I am still new to this.  Getting there slowly though, with loads of help from people like yourself.

Another method (This will determine the fastest repo for your location.):

Go to your "start menu", go to the Software section, and choose repository speed test. Make sure you have Synaptic closed. Now, run the speed test. It will automagically determine the fastest repository for your location and select it for you.

Back again after getting the files downloaded.  Did what Aradalf and menotu said, thanks you two.  Installed it and there was no problem.  Logged out and selected E17 to come back in; all I got was black page then straight to the login box.
For some reason it wont let me use either the 3d or enlightenment.  XFCE works no problem as does KDE 4.

Disable compiz in pcc before logging in to e17, it has it's own compositing window manager called ecomorph and will not work with compiz fusion.
