Hi y'@ll
I have a few videos ripped from DVD to MP4 files and moved them onto my Fascinate cellphone. Some of the videos are very quiet.
Is there a way to amplify the sound on MP4 videos?

Thanks for any tip

This is not nearly enough information.

Tell us exactly what you did, with what software, on what hardware and why you think the volume is not loud enough, from start to finish.

Sorry but understand that your question is simply.. "Is there a way to amplify the sound on MP4 videos?". The answer to that question is obvious,, turn up the volume. But I doubt that is the answer you are looking for.   Wink

Hi Rudge,

I use HandBrake to rip the mp4 video and I could not find a setting to make the sound louder. Some DVD movies are just "very quiet" and you have to turn up the volume on the TV.  The Fascinate cellphone is made by Samsung and the volume is all the way up. Still, in a "noisy" environment the sound is not loud enough. (unless I use earbuds)
I use MP3gain to amplify MP3 songs and was wondering if there is a software to amplify the sound "within" the movie (if that makes sense).

Let me dig around. In the meantime, you are much more likely to get some help with this description.  Wink
