I don't have blue eyes

Hello there folks.

I managed to mangle my install quite a bit and decided a reinstall was in order. So I got the latest iso, the KDE.2010.12 one and installed away.

My problem is that I've gotten very used to switching desktops by the Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right keyboard gesture. How do I assign them back. In 2010.12 nothing happens. In KDE Control Center I see the Common Appearance & Behavior> Shortcuts & Gestures but nothing in that section has a section to add desktop switching options.

Can I add the Previous/Next desktop option? How? Is it taken out and I just have to wait till the KDE gods decide it is time we could have it back?

Help me out here folks. Ideas?

I'm not sure if I understand your question but I just right clicked on the pager on the taskbar and selected pager options -> Virtual Desktops -> Switching tab and set it for alt-ctrl-left for desktop 1 and alt-ctrl-right for desktop 2. There are options for previous and next desktop too.

Hit the nail on the head Texstar! Sorry for my garbled question.

Now if only I could figure out how to switch desktops WITH windows...

Yaaa! Glad it worked out. Your question wasn't garbled but my ability to understand what you wanted to do. I've never mess with gestures other than the one I give the screen sometimes when I can't compile a package properly. Cheesy
