Went from Full Monty install today to recommended because Monty does not support compiz.

Installed from synaptic...details on card are below....

Installed all Compiz packages including icon....gettting no rotation on switch of desktops....any ideas?

Did you enable Cube and Rotation in the configurations?

P.S. You also have to enable Compiz Fusion (if you installed it):

And or install fusion icon from Synaptic.
