I am using pclos (latest) with the updated kde desktop. I have been using an older webcam (Microsoft VX6000) with wxcam successfully, however I cannot get Skype to see the cam. Anyone know how to remedy this?

Many thanks Ramchu, that link provided a solution for me. The "LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so /usr/bin/skype" command I installed in my desktop icons setting (right clicked the icon) on the command line in the Applications tab.
