Hi all and Merry Christmas!

I can see my printer but does not access PPD file.I get this error,(Could not start process Cannot talk to klauncher: Not connected to D-Bus server).

I got the printer to work but I don't know how I did it HuhHuh??

I get the same error, does your card run a propriety driver? If so, you can open a terminal and log in as root and run hp-setup from there. It should download the driver and install the driver for you.

When I did as you suggested I get this error,( No appropriate print PPD file found for model officejet_6500_e709a)and I also get the same error as before.

Hello,
I'm having the exact same problem but am unfortunately unable to solve it... If I try to run hp-setup I get the above mentioned error message and if I try to use pclinux control center it just freezes. I tried to install the printer via the cups webinterface and kind of succeded. That means I was able to print a testpage via the web interface but the printer is not shown in any print dialog of any program.
I'm at a lost here and any help is greatly appreciated!
