Hello all. I'm back to PCL after a good screwing by Fedora. Fedora does not have Nvidia drivers by default, and my Azus board with onboard Nvidia video was really shaky and unstable after installing Fedora. so I installed my old Nvidia G-force PCI card to get it working, then it all fell down and refused to boot into a usable terminal or window. I lost a lot of work, as my backup DVD-RW suddenly decided to stop and lock up tight.

I installed PCL Gnome first, and after the update it went to hell. No big surprise here, this has happened before. the KDE4 version though....there is a good running, fast, and completely stable Linux operating system that anyone can be proud of. My question is, where did the Nvidia logo go? I always liked it. I saw a thread on how to get rid of it, but was unable to reply.

I think you can get it back by adding the following line in the "screen" section of "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" text file. You must be root to edit the file.

Option "NoLogo" "False"
