When I install things from Synaptic from the E-17 Desktop sometimes segfaults! Seems like they fix one thing and something else breaks. Kinda of getting old.

Never experienced that here.
I do have problems with the mixer module failing to load (sometimes with segfault) at e17 startup.
Thanks for fixing editje. Smiley

I've been running with an updated efreet and so far no segfaults when installing or removing apps. I will send to the repos for further evaluation.

New update (29/02/2011) - New bugs !!!

http://trac.enlightenment.org/e/ticket/706

What does work again is removing gadgets from the desktop.
Locking desktop also seems to be working fine.

Issue solved so should work again when Texstar updates the packages. Smiley
